ABOUT US
Auto mechanics and staff dedicated to quality automotive service & excellence in customer care.
Andy takes the time to explain things, and why they need to be done. He tells me what happens if you don’t get it done … and what I really like about him is that he gives me options. If something would be a really expensive bill, he will find cost effective ways so that I am able to afford to get it fixed.
At AE, you are treated as a person, whereas at the dealership, they don’t care.
For a widow who knows nothing about her car, my comment is that you need to be able to trust the company you use – and trust a person there, like I trust Andy. This person needs to be knowledgeable, explain things clearly, be trustworthy and treat me with respect. I am a retired University Professor and am used to being respected, but at other places they treated me very poorly. Andy doesn’t know what I used to do – he just knows I am a retired widow. He treats me with respect all the time. I am very happy.
Andy is very professional…he explains and educates what you need to know about cars. He is a man of his word and he respects your budget.
I’ve always been impressed by Andy’s honesty and by the quality of his work. He’s put together a friendly, efficient and dependable team of service guys. Andy’s team was responsible for keeping my Ford Escort on the road for over 12 years. They’re amazing! Great people and great service – I couldn’t ask for anything more.
I’ve heard others praise you for your dedication to warm, friendly customer service, well – seeing is believing… Suffice it to say that you earned a new customer today.
I heard so many horror stories about mechanics cheating and not being honest – thank God I found Andy. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. Andy is honest, up front, and he doesn’t charge you for more than you need done. With Andy, the first time I bring it in – it’s fixed right. And if it’s not, they do it quickly at no extra charge. I feel that they don’t take advantage of you.
AE is 10 out of 10 compared to the dealership; Andy is more honest and I don’t think [AE is] as expensive as the dealership – they are competitive in price.
Andy explained things to me in a way that I could understand. He said “…these are things that we would have to look out for”. He tells me ahead of time what needs to be done, and he records, in my file, what he tells me. I trust him and have recommended him to a number of people. One month after a parts warranty was finished, a pipe blew. I felt like – oh, here I go again. But Andy figured out a way to repair the pipes and it lasted longer than the Honda pipe would have – and he didn’t charge for anything but labour to keep me as a happy customer. He goes to bat for me with the dealership – he went to the dealership to see if they would honour the warranty on the pipe, but they wouldn’t. He is upfront and I appreciate that a lot.
Andy talks to me. I give him my budget, and he gives me the priorities that need to be done on my car. I really appreciate that, and that’s the #1 reason why I go back! I will continue to go to AE – [Andy] is straightforward with the questions that I ask and what needs to be done – I appreciate what he does. He is not out for a money grab. He understands budgets and that everyone has different limitations. It’s a good, family-run business.
He’d tell you what was going to go wrong in the future, what to do – for planning – what is expected to go… how long it would last and how it would affect the car – just great information and service. He’s trustworthy. I can believe Andy when he says something… and that came from experience.
Dealers were always expensive and they don’t do what they say – and you had no options. No choices. Andy always gives you options.
My windshield cracked and I phoned around and got prices, then I phoned Andy and his price was quite comparable. I’d rather go to him than to the other place. I know Andy will fix it right. When he puts it in, it’ll stay in, you know.
I have always bought new cars from reputable dealers. I went in because my windshield wipers were not working correctly, so the dealer told me they would be about $200 to fix. I took the car to AE and Andy repaired it, and it came to $37. That’s the reason we have taken our cars to AE.
At AE Auto Plus, the service advisor or mechanic explains everything and shows you what needs to be done… and I can trust them – I like that.
